Founded in 1996, HEMA TRW has been producing hydraulic and electromechanical steering boxes for major OEMs such as Ford Otosan, Tofaş Fiat and Oyak Renault.

HEMA TRW started production in 1996 after the leading Turkish industrial giant HEMA Endustri A.S. And the global automotive technology provider TRW established a Joint Venture to manufacture steering boxes in Cerkezkoy.

Production started in 1997 with the making of the mechanical steering box. Hydraulic steering box production started in 1999.

On April 2012 our factory celebrated the production of its 7 Millionth steering gear since the start of production. That steering gear is currently featured at HEMA TRW in a special glass display.
